Smiles, tickles, cuddles and hugs, cookies and treats, games, acting silly, patience love and understanding, colouring, walks, adventures.

I'm going to be a grandfather this year.

I already have my eye on a bike and a beginner espresso machine for this person who is about to enrich our lives.

But being of a pragmatic mind. Occasionally. I decided to enlist some expert help.

I get to have coffee most Tuesday mornings with a group of seasoned veterans. I asked them what makes a Great Grandparent.
